Open Letters Friday is a segment here at PCL for your reading and writing enjoyment. I’ll share with you some of my open letters for the week and you’ll get the opportunity in comments to share yours. Now, tell me, who do you need to write to this week?

Dear Readers:
I almost didn’t do Open Letters Friday this week because I did so much complaining yesterday. But then I realized that Open Letters can be positive as well…or at least constructive. So I’ll try and be at least positively-driven when I write the rest of these. Promise. I’ll try.
Sincerely,
Kim

Dear Weather:
I appreciate that summer is finally over, but I’d appreciate it even more if I could count on a weather pattern. Something like “miserable” isn’t what I’m going for, but at least that’d be predictable. Yesterday it felt like I was being pelted with tiny rain drops whenever I was outside–but it wasn’t enough to bring out the umbrella. This is the kind of thing I’m talking about. Just pick a pattern and go with it.
Love,
A Sinus-Driven Gal

Dear Tim Hortons:
Thank you for being near my house and on the way to work. I’d appreciate a smaller line, but I digress. Your line moves very quickly, even if it is long. And your coffee is delicious. It’s exactly what this girl needs. Well, if it were free it’d be exactly what this girl needs. Again, I digress.
Hugs and Kisses,
A Satisfied Customer

Dear Friday:
Thank you for finally being here. But don’t feel like you have to stick around forever. Saturday is fun too.
Sincerely,
Hates Mondays…and Tuesdays….and Wednesdays…

Dear Time:
Can we fast forward to the point in time where I’m happy with where I’m at in life? Like at least until the time I start school and find an agent for my book? I’d take just that right now.
Thanks,
Impatient Me

Dear Person I E-mailed:
When I say to let me know when you can talk on the phone, and you call me, I expect you to be able to talk then. Instead, you talked for five minutes about when you could talk later. Lady, I could have just asked my two questions right then and been done with it.
Oh well.
Sincerely,
Time Management Lover

I second the letter to Time. You can add my name to the signature. We should start a petition.
I think I really should start doing Open Letters on my blog. They look so fun.
I’m adding my name to the Time letter/petition.

Ditto what Kim said.
Dear Everything In My Entire Lab,
Seriously? Did you really all have to break at the SAME TIME? Next time, at least cc me on the memo so I can brace myself for another ten hour day.
