Hey, at least you’re doing things. I can’t even bring myself to update my existing blog. Sometimes, on my drive to work, I’ll mentally compose what I think is a great blog entry but then forget what it was the minute I step foot in the office.

I love Goodreads! Though I haven’t updated in a very long time. :(

Good luck with the GRE!

I wish I could take a nap at lunch time! (or anytime really…) I don’t ever get a proper break at work, since I’m always looking after the kids.

Good luck with the GRE.

Your GRE scores will get there. It takes forever. I know someone, we’ll call her… Blaine… who has worked for both test prep companies and for the IT department of different universities. Some schools are just ridiculously old school and only run the programs to accept electronic scores like once a month, because back in 1992 the process took two days or something and computers clearly haven’t advanced since then. Other schools probably still employ little old ladies to enter the scores by hand. It’s kind of ridiculous.

I think most mothers are skeptical to their daughter’s happiness. Don’t know why. Anyway, how come you’re not happy? Agents are interested in your manuscript! :D

So happy to hear you’ve got more agents interested. It’s awesome that one knew of your blog too. Very cool! I’m on Goodreads as well. I’ll add you over there, as long as you promise not to make fun of the brain candy novels I read. lol

That’s such good news to hear about the agents! My own mind has been swamped with a career move and changing states. See my latest post for details!

Requests to read your manuscript? Yay!! Best of luck!

I’ve debated a nap at work all day. But working in a newsroom – thus not having my own office – makes that tough. Instead, I have a GIANT soda to keep me awake a few more hours.

Yeah, the nap thing kind of necessitates having your own office with a door.

I will not make fun of your reading. I only do that once I’ve known you for awhile. :)

I’m happy about the agents and whatnot (well, sometimes…I hate the waiting…and I’ve gotten PLENTY of rejections). But everything else in my life is in a holding pattern. It makes daily living difficult.

Just added you on Goodreads! Is it pathetic that the only updating I do happens when the library sends me my overdue notices via email? Yeah…
