- Ever since we got a DVR, I’ve rarely watched television shows on the date or time they actually air. In fact, instead I’ve come up with a schedule of my own.
- On the DVR for example is the Khloe Kardashian wedding special that was on E! on Sunday. I may not watch that until tomorrow. Take that network schedulers!
- I come up with the best ideas when I’m doing repetitive non-thinking tasks…like playing Tetris or driving.
- In a different life I think I’ll be a photographer. It’s just another way to express creativity.
- Oh yeah…I got into grad school! I’m already registered for classes for the winter and everything. Call me Ms. Ready. (No, don’t really call me that.)
- I saw a Dodge Neon that was my year and color on the road yesterday and got a bit misty eyed for Squishy…good ol’ unreliable Squishy. What’s the matter with me?
- The Bruce Springsteen concert is this Friday. I’m trying to get psyched up about it, but to be honest I was more psyched when we got the tickets than I am now. I hope to fix that by Friday.
- Up comes out on DVD today. I cannot express how much I want to curl up and watch that movie again and again.
- I always have trouble with this last bullet showing up below. Sometimes I want to fight WordPress.

I just don’t “get” Bruce Springsteen. Never have. Never will.
And one thing about Khloe’s wedding…dying for your commentary — her “baby” voice was driving me CRAZY. Does she ALWAYS talk like that? I feel like she was “pushing” her voice a la Drew and Mike.

i never watch shows at their regular time either, now that i have DVR. it’s because i can’t watch commercials anymore!

Congratulations on the grad school acceptance; that’s wonderful news.
We’ve downgraded our cable and as a result, lost our DVR package. Now I have to know when shows are on, which hasn’t gone so well.
Thank God for Hulu.

I saw Springsteen four years ago. Great concert. But I understand what you mean about not being revved up for it. I think it will happen once you get to the venue.
I’m seeing Bruce next Friday and I could not be any more excited (lies, because it’s just going to build from here on out). Everyone I know who’s seen this tour said it’s absolutely incredible, so GET EXCITEDDDDD!

I love the Up movie. It’s one of the few original movie ideas that’s come out lately.
