- I’ve been craving stuffing for a week now. It started when Ronnica mentioned it on Twitter. Now, knowing the stuffing of the century (my mom’s stuffing) is just two short days away, the craving has kicked into high gear.
- Last night I fell asleep at 9 p.m. I feel like such a slacker when I do that, but sometimes a headache and a tired brain just lead to such things.
- It’s interesting the difference a year makes. Last year when I started the Thank You For Blogging Awards I barely knew anyone on the interwebs. Now I feel like there’s a community I belong to that welcomes me. I like that feeling.
- I don’t like flavored coffees. So sue me. They just seem to be…too much.
- Tomorrow, Mr. CVD and I are celebrating the biggest bar night of the year by sneaking alcohol into the movie theatre and seeing some films. It’s the same thing we did last year and it was much more fun than a crowded bar.
- I ordered new glasses last night. I’m going back to a plastic tortiseshell frame…I’m a bit nervous. What was that site for cheap glasses again? I might need a second pair.
What’s on your mind today?

I agree – just give me plain old black coffee any day! As for the glasses bit – it’s unbelievable how expensive they can be. I need to get my eyes tested again, it’s been 2 years since I last went (and got myself a pair), so now I’ll have to have the lenses replaced…
[oh, I mentioned you on my blog again: http://theskinnyonmyjeans.wordpress.com/2009/11/24/thank-you-for-blogging-awards-time/ - at least you know I'm not a stalker!]
Stuffing and Egg Nog. Cannot WAIT for that shit.
At first I forgot to add your fabulous blog, but then I remembered…check my site for a surprise!!
That makes me wish I was getting new glasses. Sometimes I just want to wear them to work instead of my contacts but I don’t because they’re so outdated. I think tortoise shell ones are cute!
I totally need new contacts and glasses….
And BRING ON THE NOG!!!
Sorry I started the craving…at least you’ll be able to enjoy it with relish soon (not with actually relish…I don’t think stuffing and relish would go well together). I ended up stopping by the store to pick some up that night!
I made Stovetop the other night. How gross. But mmmmm.
Mmm. Stuffing!
On my mind: How in the world am I going to fit clothes for two weeks and Christmas presents in my carry-on luggage?
Stuffing is my absolute favorite part of Thanksgiving. Now my mouth is watering!!!
And sneaking alcohol into the movies is one of my favorite pastimes! Sneaking alcohol into anywhere really…
