I don’t have much time to blog today thanks to work. Thus, I am posting this clip from one of the greatest movies ever, The Jerk. According to The Mister (and he happens to be right), I never really cared about this movie until I caught it on cable earlier this year. Now I quote it all the time.
But that’s fine. I don’t need him. The only thing I need is this ashtray….and this paddle game…and this lamp. That’s all I need. And this lamp. That’s it.

I used to love this movie as a kid. Which is hilarious because I’m sure if I watched it now, there would be plenty of jokes I’d understand that I didn’t understand years ago…
I love watching old movies (or older) and finding jokes I missed before. It makes me wonder what I was thinking.
I freaking LOVE this movie. This is one of my favorite Steve Martin scenes of all time. ALL time!
This movie is pretty amazing in every way.
