After publicly threatening him and then privately begging him to come up with his answers, The Mister has come through. This morning in an early morning e-mail (the kind I read while going through my morning constitutional, if you must know), I found The Mister’s answers to your burning questions nestled in between pieces of junk mail and Twitter notifications.
The idea for this post was inspired in part by LiLu’s “Shiz My Boyfriend Says” and the many blogs around the blogosphere requesting readers to ask the writer questions. For the record, if you have questions for me, you can always leave them in the comments or e-mail me at kim@perfectlycursedlife.com.
Without further disruption from me, here are The Mister’s Answers to your questions…
————————————-
LisaD asked: What’s your favorite thing about Kim?
The Mister said: I really like that she has a sense of humor and finds all the stupid things I laugh at funny. But other than that she puts up with me which I know is hard to do some times.
———-
Shawna and Jodi asked similar questions. Shawna asked: as an avid reader of Perfectly Cursed Life, I have often wondered what it has felt like to have the little lady divulge personal information about her life (including your marriage) on such a public forum. Could you please enlighten us readers to your side of the story? Do feel free to share any anecdotes about the Misses at your discretion; the juicier the better. Jodi asked: How do you feel about Kim writing about things that happen in your life? Does it ever bother you what she shares?
The Mister said: There are a lot of things at first read that I think do not need to be posted on the internet. But really there is nothing that has been written about that I have not shared or vented about verbally. I think that the only post that we ever discussed was made in a drunken stupor on New Years Eve. (I think there is still an unopened bottle of champagne from that night in the fridge) And it did not involve anything embarassing about myself. I do not think it was ever deleted for those that want to check it out. (Editor’s note: it wasn’t deleted….it’s right here.)
———-
Shawna asked: Also, how do you feel about the Duggars? Kelly also asked: What does The Mister think about the Duggars?
The Mister said: What is a Duggar?
———-
Elizabeth asked: If you had two weeks and a $3,000 budget, where would you take Kim, and what would you do there?
The Mister said: We have been talking for as long as I remember about taking a trip to Europe, specifically to Ireland, London and Paris. But with the current exchange rate I don’t think $3000 will get us that far. It would also be one of those vacations that would require a second vacation to recover from. There are so many things that I would love to see and feel a part of a history that is more than a few hundred years old.
———-
MysterG asked: Did you ever lie to Kim when you first started going out (e.g. I’ve done/know/have this etc) and if so, did it ever come back to haunt you?
The Mister said: I am sure that I did and I am sure that it has has come back around to bite me. But there is nothing that I can remember.
———-
Lindsay asked: What’s the one thing about Kim you think her readers should know that she hasn’t shared?
The Mister said: She is incredibly ticklish on the back of her neck and will not let anyone touch her there.
———-
Andhari asked: If you could pick out an entire outfit for Kim to wear on a night out with you, what would you choose? Don’t cheat, it’s gotta be from head to toe. Lol.
The Mister Said: It really would not mater to me what she wears as long as it does not involve stealing one of my shirts.
———-
Lydia asked: Do you have houseplants in your home? Does Kim use the plant mister?
The Mister said: There are no plants in our house and if there were I am sure they would not live long. Neither one of us are good with anything that involved gardening.. The apple-pear tree that we planted outside is close to dying from a lack of care.

There you have it folks. To be honest, although some of these answers are short, they’re probably longer than most people get out of him verbally. He’s usually a bit on the quiet/shy side.
For reference, though, my flowers out front have lasted for awhile, Lydia. We have the little bamboo shoot (though I doubt he’s noticed that) that’s doing fine as well. But he’s right, the apple tree (which he bought thinking it was a pear tree) is in sad shape–even after fertilizer and watering. It looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
And also, for the record, The Mister caught me watching The Duggars one day and made some comment about them being crazy for having so many kids. I doubt he remembers that though.
Andhari, sorry The Mister wasn’t specific, but honestly he usually doesn’t care. I think he’s made mention of an outfit once in our six years together. He does really care about me stealing his shirts, though. Which I do from time to time…
All in all, this was a fun experiment. At lest it was for me. How was it for you? (That’s what she said.)

Enlightening. Thank you.
The Mister and I love you for the same reasons!
This was so fun to read!! It’s possible that J is even less prolific than Mister so I’ve never even asked him if he’d do something like this.
Awww, I had a blast when I did this kind of post, too! It’s always fun to hear it from the other half…
Thanks, to The Mister, for sharing. It was a fun read
